What I imagined

What I imagined love to be like was two mourning doves meeting in the sky.

I imagined it would be like a honeybee meeting the one flower amidst a field of the same.

I imagined it would be the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, but love is not perfect.

It is an indescribable feeling of complete and total fixation, but also a complete feeling of dread; this is not what I imagined.

I imagined it as a whimsical and magical experience with an unbroken abundance of greatness.

But no. It's not these things.

It's completely necessary and unnecessary for your existence.

But, what do I know? I'm only 13.
