A Veggie Poem

There once was a middle-aged fool who thought himself swell
But he had not the slightest bit of brains as far as his mother could tell
Since he had never been smart a day in his life
He had no job and no friends and no wife
And because he was a clueless as clueless people go
His mother would explain things real well and real slow
She told him one day that the soup was bland
Pausing between words with a gesture of hand
She wrote him a list, cirlcled in red
Giving him a shopping sack and a pat on the head
But when he came back no foods did he bring
The mother sighed and wished she had born a smarter thing
He told her the shopping was out in the yard
And she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose hard
She followed and wished she had a daughter
Then she saw the yard was underwater
She flung up her arms and started to shriek
And the son proclaimed, Mother I got you a leak

Every time I jump the world spins once

And I land in the same spot

My dog looks like a gremlin when he’s sleeping

It’s midnight and I wonder if my salt lamp is really salt

    Ick yep it is

    the human
    sitting and picking the words
    from cobweb corners where
    computers can't find them.
there is a beating heart here
