Drawn like a magnet,
the moon and the sea.
Water reaching for light,
stars shining in the night,
watching as the moon-
pulls away,
steering the water astray.
Drawn like a magnet,
the moon and the sea.
Water reaching for light,
stars shining in the night,
watching as the moon-
pulls away,
steering the water astray.
As a kid I would sit and listen to the rain,
Thinking of Mother Earth’s pain.
I knew our climate was rising,
My worry went ignored, unsurprising.
