A splash of color

A dark expanse is all you see when you awaken.

"Hello?"

You speak out into the world but nothing returns other than an echo of the seasons that have passed. So without much else to do you walk forward on and on into the endless void you're within. As you walk you can hear a dripping as if from leak in the ceiling if there is ceiling. You walk toward the dripping and when you reach the source you see the first colors you've seen in a while.

Reds, oranges, and faded greens mix together like a splatter painting before your eyes and it's beautiful. As the color spreads out the lifeless void becomes a vibrant world filled with colors and life. You hear the chirping of birds and the flowing of water. It's beautiful.

Someone walks up behind you looking like the nature took human form

"Let's take a walk, shall we?" They say to you

You follow behind and as the sun shines down upon you the memories of the dark void that once was begin to fade, and the reds, oranges, and faded greens begin to replace them.
