A gentle reminder of love,
the snow falls around like a hug,
one I’ve come to appreciate so much.
The chill in the air sweeps around us,
as spring dances with winter.
The two almost inseparable.
Spring flourishes with the sun,
always in tune with the land.
Winter thrives with the moon,
as both glimmer with false sand.
Most scoff as the land falls back onto winter,
clinging to its icy beauty as if it were warm.
Though, slowly but surely, spring takes ahold,
as the sun shines a little brighter, bold-
like winter’s cool embrace.
Spring will eventually appear,
as traces of winter disappear.
