Remember?

Remember,
When we used to be best friends.
Remember,
When our summer never ended.
Remember,
When we got teased, but didn't care.
Remember,
How we used to exchange gifts.
Bad gifts.
Remember,
In the second grade,
How we thought our life was made.
Remember,
We used to do everything together.
Remember,
All the fun we had.
I remember all theses things, flaws, and fun we had.
Do you remember,
Anything?
Well, I'm writing this to you,
So please remember,
That I still love you.
Why did we have to grow up,
I don't want to take another road without you.
Remember,
In the third grade,
When those new kids came.
The took you by a rope, and dragged you away.
Away from me.
Remember,
In the fifth grade,
When those kids called us names?
Remember,
That you are not alone,
Remember,
In the sixth grade,
When are past started to fade.
We gave up,
And oh please,
Remember,
How I got you back,
Well I tried,
Remember,
Our pact.
Please remember,
That you were my best friend,
And all love you till the end,
No matter what,
Remember,
These words I wrote to you,
Because I remember,
And I hope you do to.

This is a poem of hope,

     a poem of peace.

    It is short and sweet,

simple as a bird going tweet.

    I just want to say

    Covid please go away

that is all I have to say.
  • You're Job Is A Tree

    You glow in the day,
    A shadow at night.
As kids climb you they scream with delight.
The sky turns pink, gold, and red.
You sit there watching. With nothing to be said.
    You bloom in the spring,
    And loom in the winter.
