Rainy Day

It's a dreary day just before the official kickoff of summer
Flowers have already churned through their entire life cycle
Although some leaves and petals hold their core as the rain showers down
Like always it casts a grumpy feel to the crisp and moist air
But when I finally and reluctantly step outside for once
These blossoms and branches the colors of forests and sunshine
Have held strong in maintaining the hope that the summer sun
Is just around the corner

  • fragile foundation

    every twist of inadequacy's blade

(each one worse than the previous)

fell in a rhythmic order, one that your silence

carried in. did you hate me?

you'd never say so. so blindly, i never changed.

  • sunday nights

    sunday nights are my own.

old music in the corners of my mind

pen scratches on paper, ten thousand poems

    two hundred and seventy-two

    little golden lights, 4 walls

    that mirror my soul.
