I can no longer look in the mirror,
The person standing there is unrecognizable.
All that's left is the morphed image of every mask I carry
Have you ever been in a room full of people
Where you feel as if everyone hates you
But at the same time no one even sees you
I am hated
But I'm invisible
The mirror is empty now
Just a hollowed out husk of the person I used to be
I don't see myself
I don't even know myself
Who am I?
The person standing there is unrecognizable.
All that's left is the morphed image of every mask I carry
Have you ever been in a room full of people
Where you feel as if everyone hates you
But at the same time no one even sees you
I am hated
But I'm invisible
The mirror is empty now
Just a hollowed out husk of the person I used to be
I don't see myself
I don't even know myself
Who am I?

This poem is amazing. It's so well written, and I really related to it. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Remember that it's okay not to know who you are. It takes years to figure that out. Who you are as a person changes, and that's okay.
