One Word

One Word

By Garrett

One word blared my head
When she left
Ex
Ex
Ex
The drought
The clench in my teeth
My eyes tearing up
The beating music matches my heart
Sad
Intense
Fast
Ex
Ex
Ex
My friends apologizing
For something they did
Not
Do.
My face hung
Over my face
As if I was possessed
Taken away
Seized in my place
Frozen
But warm
Hot, sweaty
Tears in my heart
That can't be undone
Like a shoelace
Muddy
Droopy
Undone.
Crying
Standing
There
My friends telling me there's more
At the time
I didn't believe
I thought that was it
The end
Till the next year
She came
The other
Girl
That I would devote my heart and soul to
My friends
Would say
Simp
I didn't care
I thought
If you don't simp for your girlfriend
Your a bad person
I laughed then
All with my friends
They Are supportive
And funny
And in all amazing
But mostly my girlfriend

Thank you WHITNEY for giving me this idea, it really helped.
