Old Warehouse

Old Warehouse

By Garrett

Dusty,
Stinky,
Dangerous but quiet
Broken glass
Crumbled rock
Smashed wood planks
And a few mice too.
A place
That's secret
For me and you.
Cutting edge
Brick walls
Dusty tools
Weeds in spots they shouldn't be
Wrecking ball
Bulldozer
And a dozen workers
Everybody knew it was the time
It broke
It smashed
It crumbled
It crashed.
Nothing left
Except for a few old memories
And a cobweb
The days are over
And so is our fun
We work and work and work
To build a new one.
It's a matter of time
A trophy of sweat
Till we build it again
And do not forget.
Our.
Memories
Together.
