I can’t imagine living someplace else
Away from the people who knew my name when I was born, who never left my side,
Away from the roads that I know so well as if they were the veins across my arms,
Away from the sunset that I will never forget, that keeps me going in the morning and night,
Away from the tall mountains and glorious trees, that tower over my little town protecting me,
Away from my school, friends, family, home, life.
I would never leave here,
my little town filled with everything I live for. It's just the same as any other town.
But it’s different.
It’s different because I know the people who know me,
I know those roads like no one else does,
I know the sunsets and the trees and my family like no one else does.
That is why I am never leaving.
Never leaving my little boring glorious town in the middle of nowhere.
Because I would leave too much.
