I time traveled

At least it felt like it.

I opened the door.

It was a warm March day

It was 10AM

The perfect time for a walk

and yet nobody stalked the busy streets

well, not nobody

one person walking their dog

but even they acted weird

they wore a blue mask

their dog was wearing one too

"wear a mask!" they shouted

"why?" I asked

"Have you been living under a rock?"

I found out that a monster known as covid-19 had found us

people hid in their houses in fear

of the monster that roamed the streets
