Midnight Walks under the Moon

There would be a time in life

When I could give up hope and just

Fly into the moon

I know I'll join her soon

Your pale, sad face

Stained blue with tears

Emulates love that won't thrive here

This dark, cold prison, a husk of skin

Could not prevent what dwelled within

A star appeared fresh in the sky

And soared above the clouds so high

He met the moon and sung her a lullaby

A song transcending her expectations

The Moon wrote down the words as followed:

"A yellow, wrinkly hand with four fingers

Reached out to him in search of help

He was terrified and forgot to move,

But then another feeling came over him"

They will never be torn apart

Even when she is just a cresent, even when only some of her is here

He will walk towards the moon at midnight

And wander about until she is full
