Just A Little Laugh

Humor is
When you wake up late
Can’t find your shoes
Miss your bus
Show up to school late
Fail your math test
Drop your lunch on the floor
Can’t find your friends
Zone out in history class
Have to do the laundry
Fall down the stairs
Drop a textbook on your foot
Have to eat brussel sprouts for dinner
Can’t find your favorite pencil
Don’t understand your math homework
Go to bed late
And can still laugh a little
At how pathetic your day was

And after that little laugh
That little bright moment in your day
You know everything is okay
