An Inspiration, Not an Imagination

The United States is not looking for a President with the best policy. As far as policy goes, it is almost never about the person on the ballot. Trump is not going to be making the decisions without the approval of his cabinet, the same is true for Kamala, and the same was true for every President. Yes, each party has goals, and Presidential terms will look different for each one. The deeper truth, however, is that the American people are not looking for a President with perfect policy. Americans are looking for a President who will guide them and reignite an American spirit that has been lost for so long. This claim is evident in the overwhelming victory of Ronald Reagan and the upset of John F. Kennedy. Previous Democrat voters, such as union voters and lower-middle class Americans, are voting for Trump because of this. They feel that he represents a strong leader who will never back down, and they want that image to be associated with the US.

I do not believe that Trump is truly a figure that is able to do this, however I don't think that Kamala has proven that she truly has the oratorial ability to inspire patriotism and give the US a new direction.

This is thus the most important issue for politicians to address. The greatest American Presidents have been the greatest definers of what it means to be one. This is not about policy, this is about the US.
