(part 2 of if i were to die tonight)
if i died tonight,
i know your hands
would shake around
my draining cheeks
as dusk of sun and
as dawn of moon
met once more with
me as their mediator,
with me as their judge.
leaves would sway with
my breath, cold, smokey
wind would blow my
last apology to you.
wiping away tears
with a crisp burn.
we are no summer love,
rather bound by
septembers blazing leaves.
