I am the weaver.
I weave light from darkness and darkness from light.
I weave stars in the blueness and daytime from night.
I weave turtles into their shells.
I weave heaven and hell
And so it will always be.
I am the weaver.
I have woven since time began and I will weave 'till it ends.
I have woven lovers and enemies and friends.
I have watched the threads of war dance across my fibers.
I am the weaver and my loom is on fire.
It began with a spark but not the kind from lanterns.
It was the kind of spark that destroys woven patterns.
It was the kind of spark that tears apart my work
And it came from my fabric and it was just the first.
I drew stength form my loom, and as it burns, I grow weaker.
I shudder and tremble and tremble and flicker
As the flames dance
And grow
And consume the material,
The fabric I have woven since time immemorial.
I let go of my loom as the flames leap still higher.
I am the weaver, and my loom is on fire.
