When I set foot on the shadow of my idea-turned-choice, I realized that I had willed something I wasn't able to believe into something I could no longer refrain from knowing.

It was then that I smelled air I knew from another world.

I tasted sunshine that had somehow tanned my soul.

I read the words that voices have sung me to sleep with times before.

And I found the longing I had been waiting to call my home.

I had made the right college choice. 

And all was well.
