Have you heard of the girl who went wild?
She saw the moon and began to run:
Just to Jump the stream
Then the mountain
And Into the stars.
When she Arrived to the sky,
She began to weave between the constellations.
By her bright path,
She Lit up the world.
And now whenever anyone looks up,
They wish upon her Vanishing trail
So Filled with Beauty was her trail,
That the world
could
not
hold
It,
So to the stars, she went long ago,
Burning her beautiful memory into the many left below
And the many worlds beyond!

What a picture this paints in my head! I feel I can really see her, hopping between the stars. The poetic choices you made -- the italicization, capitalizations, and single-word lines -- all added to the whimsical twinkle of the character and the piece as a whole.
