In a tranquil future world, a soul was reincarnated as a cat named Luna. She lived in a peaceful town with a loving family who pampered her with treats and affection.

I gaze out the window, watching the rivulets of water trickle down like tears. Reaching forward, I touch my fingertips to the glass pane, then quickly retreat from its cold, unyielding resolve.

I'm not sure if this will ever evolve into a "bigger" thing, but it was a good character development piece.

The searing sunbeams felt like lasers, relentlessly scorching my head, my neck, my ears, my hands. The sand beneath my feet was a ravenous monster, sucking my worn boots down with every step.

For the very first time, on that star-scattered night, engulfed in the summer's sleep, and bathing in the perfectly rounded moon's shine, streams of silk-like gold brushed the endless midnight sky.

Lady Jacqueline Arachne stepped onto the campus after having not been there for three weeks.

I used to think that I was secretly a princess. That I had been snatched away by some cruel force, dropped into the existence of a normal 21st century girl. Every day on my way to school I would pass the abandoned manor on the corner.

*Can be read as an acrostic. I didn’t really know how to use the word “burgeon” so I’m not sure if it’s accurately described. :)

Once upon a time, in a land of crystal blue skies, sat a chocolate shop. This land did not know of clouds, they simply didn't exist. Back to the chocolate. Callie's chocolate made chocolate known throughout the world for its creaminess.

Some 65 million years ago, dinosaurs found themselves in the direct path of a giant asteroid. Shortly after this unfortunate realization dinos were no more. But, in that same moment, new life evolved.

If Sebastian Azvamath was in a TV show or movie, he would be the beloved main character, Jane was sure of that.
