The Election Day

Election Day, in Washington's time,

It was simple and reliable.

Now, some centuries later,

Women's rights are in danger.

A woman running against.

The choice was somehow obvious.

The Criminal won.

Oh, how America is failing me, a woman, that is too young to know the rights she never had.

Posted in response to the challenge Post-Election.
