The Day After Thanksgiving

The day after thanksgiving
the microwaves going
the tinfoil rolled back
the fridge is wide open.
The day after thanksgiving
we all wadle around
with the extra 10 pounds we gained
grandma is proud.
The day after thanksgiving
theres fun stories to tell
the debreif from yesterday
we do very well. 
The day after thanksgiving 
the food still tastes great
the stringbeans and pie
that we had we still ate.
The day after thanksgiving
and for a week more
we eat all the leftovers 
its so good we want more!
we save all the flavores in
contaners and foil
we bring them on plain rides
and train rides, the toil!
We do this all after thanksgiving,
and why shouldn't we?
if the food isn't modly
its fine by me!
