Clyde's Ski Race

This is a story about a boy named Clyde. Clyde is a ten year old boy that loves to                       ski. He was at his first ski race and he was a little nervous. When he was on the chair lift thinking about the race, he thought it was not going to be that bad. By the time he got to the top, he was not as nervous as he had been. This made him anxious to start the race. When he got closer to the start gate he saw someone crash and get hurt. This scared him and he started to get sad and said to himself, “After this race is over I don't have to do it anymore. I will just quit and free ski.”  When it was his turn to go, the announcer said “Racer ready, three, two, one go!.” Off he went flying down the slope and When he got to the end of the course, he said to himself, “That was so fun.” From that day on, Clyde approached every ski race with a positive mindset. He went on to ski race on the World Cup.
