Caspers Take- Blog on Climate Change 2050

Yo!
What up its ya boi Casper, welcome to Caspers Take and I'm back with another video blog documenting mother earth in 2050!
So for todays video I will be looking back at when this climate issue my generation is currently dealing with, or suffering from, have your pick, and basically show everyone how its impacted the 2050 peeps. Ok- lets role the intro!

Wait. Oh, I don’t have an intro. OK we’ll just dive right in then.

Fact check. Many people do care about the environment, especially 30 years ago. And honestly many projects and technologies were developed in the hope that even more people would catch on and help the earth, and ourselves by caring for the environment. Heck they held protests and marches and pressed people in power to DO something. Here’s the thing. The people who were a bit more lenient about the whole ordeal, and didn’t believe in it, happened to be the humans who had a lot of power in deciding on green bills and conservation spending. And lets be honest ‘lenient’ is putting it nicely. The people who did nothing were the ones who could have done the most.

Anyway I can’t say what happened thrity years ago is why the climate is the way it is. It wouldn’t be fair. Global warming is a natural occurrence- remember the ice age? Millions of years before that was a really hot and dry period. These periodical climate changes were natural occurrences that spanned millions of years. What we, as a collective human race did, is speed up the climate change process by releasing H2O at a crazy rapid pace, along with other things of course. Humans were basically inconsiderate as a species regarding our impact on the environment, and ecosystems and how we were hurting them.

See guys? I actually have knowledge in this stuff.

So anyway, that’s why our lives are the way they are in 2050. Why we had to move to higher ground, have asthma because of the air pollution, and why hurricane season is like, for half the year. The damage has already been done if you think about it, because in the past individuals and nations alike couldn’t agree if climate change was as bad as some people made it seem, and what to do about it.

I mean- I would love to have seen coral reefs, different flowers, marine life in general, poalr bears and ice caps. I’m sure you guys would really love to feel snow between your fingers. I read it looked absolutely beautiful. But I’ll never know. We don’t really get snow here anymore. Just a yellow haze over our cities, and a few scraggly trees.

I always wondered what would’ve happened if the earth physically cried out or coughed or something. Maybe we would have heard its calls for help better. Maybe then everyone would have thrown aside their difference and changed the way the climate change was heading. Really tried.
We all could have done better.

Anyway, that’s it for this video. Check out last week’s edition where I react to this thing called ‘tictok’. Guys I’m telling you- generation zoomer was a strange bunch.
Thanks so much for watching! Casper Ouuut!

  • A Space Among The Stars

To live in a space among the stars
    I'd have to get binoculars
To see the dentist on the moon
And find the next Uber at noon.
To live in a space among the stars
I'd have to float to school in cars.
  • Frost

    Its fingers were hot
    and cold and
    sweet and dark.
    All at the same time.

    Sleeeeep.

    It whispered in her ear.
    Her petals shivered.
    Its breath ran slowly
    down
    her stem and
    tickled a leaf.
