Calico switch

I awake, yawn and stretch when I look around. I'm in a huge odd room, everything looms over me. 

I hear thundering footsteps walking up a set of stairs. A girl walks into the room, she must be a giant except there is no such thing as a giant...Right? She sits down with a piece of thread, my eyes are glued to it.

 I can't look away from the thread, my paw… Wait paw I don't have a paw, I have hands. Huh something is very wrong here, my paw outstretchs and snatches the thread. The young girl who looks about five or six laughs. 

I walk around her room and snatch a glance of a calico cat in a mirror. I turn around and padd back to the mirror and see a calico cat with short fur. The girl giggles as I place my paw on the mirror. I recognize this cat -me- as my neighbor's cat that usually wanders around my house. Then I remember something, me walking around the house and seeing the cat holding an amulet in its mouth. I touch it and then I'm the cat.

 I race past the girl who yelled delighted gibberish after me. I run toward my house and then a dog walks around the rear of my house. It´s my dog, a terrier named Sammy. He growls and chases me up the steppes of my house. 

I leap onto the living room windowsill and dive from the open window into the room and onto the couch. Cat me -cat me is what i'm calling the cat that is in my form- is sitting eating-WAIT TUNA IM VEGAN. Cat me is also wearing the  amulet necklace. I leap across the room, my paw barely touches the necklace. In an instant I'm back in human form gasping for air after all I had been running for my life. I pick the amulet up with a scarf, which is lying on the couch. I toss them both in the trash and walk away. Then I wake up, it was all a dream, everything was a dream.
