While some may say that extraterrestrial entities simply do not exist, others are very much convinced that they do indeed exist such as I. One may come to a conclusion based entirely off of where their information proceeds from. For example if there is a headline in a newspaper that says "Farmer Claims to Witness Spaceship Land in Front Yard" people would most likely label the farmer as delusional. Now lets say one is watching CNN from their living room. The reporter then exclaims that a retired navy pilot reveals information from his career. The navy pilot then reveals that a spherical object shot out of the water then began to fly next to the F-18 he was in. The pilot then tells how the UFO continued to fly next to the F-18 he was in for 7 min and 32 sec. After these few minutes the pilot then explains how the object came to a dead stop then shot up to space at a hyper sonic speed of approximately mach 24. The person sitting in the living room early that morning immediately believes what was presented.
One cannot conclude if the information being presented to them is valid based entirely on the roll in society the presenter is from. The farmer or the navy pilot may both be presenting false information, true information, partial information, etc. Personally I believe that our universe is so vast that the hypothesis that there is no other life out there is unviable and that the information relating to extraterrestrial life from different sources may or may not be logical.
