Effects that scientists had long predicted would result from global climate change are now occurring, such as sea ice loss, accelerated sea level rise, and longer, more intense heat waves. This is a fact I had discovered and it inspired my work. Due to climate change the earth is getting warmer and will result in glacial melting which means more water on earth and also more intense heat waves. On the left side it what the earth looked like before and the right side is what it could look like in the future.
