Former president Donald Trump was convicted by a 12-person jury May 30 on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up a sex scandal with a porn star that threatened his 2016 presidential campaign. Trump is now a convicted felon, the first U.S. president to be convicted of a crime. He is also the presumptive Republican nominee for president in November 2024.
