The one friend
They're not alive
but they're there
They enjoy me
and I enjoy them
Whomever,
Whatever,
They are my friend
Since I was four
We sung, dreamed,
played, loved
My only friend
my imaginary friend
-
The Kiss that bloomed me
We walked to the park
We sat down.
We talked. He told me
He loves someone
He loves me,
I love him.
We talked more,
And he kissed me
I bloomed. I grew.
I matured.
We loved.
I bloomed into what I -
Out of words
When this devilish-
heck-born-rise-
the-underworld-on-
our-innocent-minds
I cried
I practically
died
I became
Out of words
Our world was overcome.
We lost our words.
And gained tears, -
What's left?
We lost our hearts to
Emotions
We lost our freedom to
Quarantine
We lost our friends to
Social DIstancing
We lost our lives to
COVID 19
And what's left?
What's left with our life?
What;s left?

We have a voice, right?
Many don't believe it
but we have a voice too.
We have an impact on the world,
What happened to our voices?
It's unfair. Adults push us aside
We have a voice too.
But it's not obvious.
We talk about Lincoln,
Jordan guy, -
Hurricane
In the middle of a hurricane
There is silence. You get
to the outside
And it's fire. Pain.
That's what I thought he was,
as he stood tall. Leaned over me
"You're too girly," He says
He's a Hurricane
