Priorities Out The Door

Glowing Inspiration
I lean over the plastic white kayak,
Admiring the magnificent bay,
Filled with dinoflagellates.
The glow, and sparkle,
Dance, and glimmer.
I reach to place my fist in the water, -
Miniature Paradise
I look out the window,
seeing a blanket of green.
The leaves create textures, and patterns.
Orange flowers are peppered through the branches,

Runners run by,
Birds fly by,
And spiders crawl across me.
Some stop to rest.

Please Remember
"Please remember
the milk
from the store,"

His Majesty
I stand there, wind knocked out of me.
In front of me: his majesty.
Quickly I bow as not to anger,
And the king raises his hand to keep order.
The room falls silent,
