After my video calls,
and my therapy calls a lot for some reason,
the screen looks blue.
Maybe it's because of the yellow light?
I don't know,
I just know that
the screen
looks
blue.
 

I don't know why, 
but if I'm trying to show off 
my shading trick, 
the one where you press so hard into the page that it shows up on the next one,
and then you shade over it and get clear white words,

Snowflakes float through the air.
Like the snowflake dance in The Nutcracker, but better, because these are real, 
and the snow littering the stage isn't bits of paper.
Like tiny dancers. 

Why are there so many 
poems amd songs and stories about
hope?

Because sometimes 
you feel like 
you could just give up 
and let the others take hold 
of all the thing you need to do.
