Cross Roads

Our roads cross,

fate set in the stars.

When will our roads split?

Love written in the sea,

wind dancing with the storm.

Clinging to hope like moss,

We didn’t see what was ours.

There’s no landslide to flee,

whispers begin to swarm.

Oh, when will worry let us be?

Bittersweet like the snow,

only the stars know.

What awaits us is a mystery,

one that’ll be left behind in our history.

but at the end of the day,

I know I’ll never find the words.

    They jumble together,

    like the sunset’s melting colors.

    For every excuse I make,
